Factors influencing behavioral intention to park legally among urban Malaysians in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This study examines the factors influencing behavioral intention to park legally among urban Malaysians in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The study used a quantitative approach to analyze survey data from Malaysian urbanites. The results of the study reveal that there is a positive relationship between the attitude towards parking legally, perceived behavioral control, subjective norms, and perceived enforcement of parking laws with behavioral intention to park legally. Furthermore, the study found that income level and the presence of public transport are significant predictors of behavioral intention to park legally. The findings of this study provide insights into how policies and enforcement strategies can be used to alter behavior in order to reduce illegal parking.
